About

My primary life passion lies in cinema, a field in which I have actively engaged for over two decades, assuming diverse roles across different geographical territories. Employing an intersectoral approach, my professional foundation originates from a background in sociology, specialized in Technological and Information Communications. Subsequently, I attained a Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Cinema from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, CUEC-FAD). In 2018, my academic and professional contributions were acknowledged by our esteemed “Máxima Casa de Estudios” through the conferral of the Alfonso Caso Medal.

Presently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Film Studies at the Université de Montréal (Québec) and concurrently enrolled in Information and Communication Sciences at Sorbonne Nouvelle University (Paris). My research focuses on technical innovation theories, platform studies, audiences, funding mechanisms, and the contribution of women in cinema. Having accrued over five years of experience, I have actively imparted knowledge at the university level and collaborated with international public and private initiatives.
